Pours a brownish/orange. Fully opaque. Nose is citrus, dank hop, grass, and tropical fruit. Taste follows suit with a bitter undertone. Feel is creamy and full, decent beer.

Revisited review: 1/2/21:
I little time in the can has helped this one, big-time. (My GR friend has told me that Arvon IPAs need a few extra weeks to mellow, whereas the IIPAs should be consumed as fresh as possible. So far my experience has largely matched that.) Almost all of the starchy, green element is gone, the overripe fruit has mellowed nicely, the citrus and tropical fruit has now increased to balance out the stone fruit, and the overall harmony of the beer is dramatically improved. It's still a touch sharp but it has a more of a lemon/lime bite than pure hop particulate. I've upgraded the taste grade and overall grade accordingly.
Original Review on 12/5/20:
2-ish week old can poured into a stemless wide-mouth wine glass.
Pours a muddled but attractive pineapple-orange juice body, with full haze, light murk, and an element of creaminess.
Quarter-finger of bright-white head to start, little more than a bubbly foam later. A few swirls of the glass produces a nice latte foam. Arvon makes some very attractive hazies, and this one is certainly of that ilk.
Pretty tough to beat the Mosaic-Citra combination, and this beer's personality is certainly dictated by that mix (plus Arvon's house yeast and their super-fresh and moderately-green approach to hazies). More Mosaic than Citra, as the dankness, tropical (mango) and stone fruit (peach) elements, berry notes, and weediness are heavy players. But there's certainly plenty of citrus to go around, specifically orange and grapefruit. A little pithy, a little bitter, a little sweet, and a lot green.
Taste is a bit of a letdown (knowing what Arvon is capable of), as the overripe stone and tropical fruits basically take over and don't let much else rise to the surface. The Mosaic dominates, and it's not the best Mosaic has to offer. There's still some citrus (grapefruit) pith, a little pine, and some grape and berry elements. But the muddled and overripe fruits, along with some strong dankness and starchy greens, basically run the show. I like the modest fruit sweetness, but this one comes off aggressive (in the overripe deparrment), then drops off hard, and almost comes off as a tad watered down on the tongue. A little age might help take some of the sting out of the starchy greens, but in this case I don't think the beer will improve because the various notes are a tad weak to begin with.
Feel is smooth and soft, almost velvety, but a touch thin.
