A - Pours a sludgy reddish purple with a fizzy red head. The head fades leaving a bunch of sludgy lacing.

S - Aroma is tart blackberries and a light lactic funkiness.

T - The taste is huge sweet and tart blackberries with a touch of lemon and yogurt.

M - Full body with low carbonation. Chewy mouthfeel with a dry finish.

O - Really impressive fruited kettle sour.

Served in a stemless wine glass

This beer pours like purple sludge. It is so thick and viscous that head doesn't immediately appear. It eventually form less than an inch of beet colored foam. A film of fruit purée clings to the sides of the glass.

It smells like puréed raspberries with a little tartness.

It tastes like a fruit smoothie. That fruit being raspberry. Delicious AF

Full bodied with a super thick mouthfeel

This is pretty daggum good.

Pours a thick, syrupy purple color with almost no head and no lacing. The little head there is sticks around and looks like the top of a smoothie. Actually, the whole thing looks like a smoothie.

The smell is bright, slightly sour blackberry. Almost like a juice that's been in fridge too long and started to turn bad but still smells great.

The taste follows exactly. It's loaded with blackberry, slightly sour and a bit sweet. It's like a blackberry/yogurt smoothie.

The mouthfeel is extremely thick and velvety. Very low carbonation. Slightly dry, short finish.

Overall, that is outstanding. It's exactly what I would expect from a double kettle sour.
