Its no secret I’m obsessed with Arvon and their sours and IPA’s. This is the first stout of theirs I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying.
pours a ruby hued, oily black with a finger of cola suds. The head quickly reduces to a thin ring. Nose is marshmallow, almonds and bakers chocolate. Taste follows suit with a bit of bitterness in the finish. Overall, I’ll rate this slightly above average but it may not be the heavy hitter I was hoping for.
