Pours turbid and murky, a grey gold color, with tremendous foam. Hints of pineapple and guava, with a somewhat earthy spice to its finish. And… bubblegum? Some hop burn. A little messy, and the cotton candy/juicy fruit character becomes cloying the more it opens. Bru-1 is a new one to me.

Pours a fully opaque bright orange with a finger of off white foam that reduces to plentiful sheets of lacing. Nose is citrus, pineapple, dank and bitter hop notes. Taste follows suit. Starts off fairly bitter and drifts into a tropical fruit medley with an orange juice undertone that melds everything together seamlessly. Feel is medium/full, cut by a decent carb bite. Overall, decent; not perfect. But I like it.
