Received from @BigIronH in the NBS BIF #16. Poured into an Arvon tulip glass. It pours a hazy, slightly muddy tangerine color with a thick cap of fluffy, bright white foam and generous lacing. The nose is mostly lemon and grapefruit, along with pine needles and a whiff of berry. Wow, the taste is a lot more complex than the nose would indicate. From the initial sip there is lots of sweet fruit, including red berry and mango. But underlying the fruit is dank, resinous pine and a woody earthiness. The Simcoe hops provide a clean bitterness throughout. I'm not sure I've ever had an IPA with a bill of Mosaic, Idaho 7, and Simcoe but they are complimentary and the flavors very well-balanced. Its mouth feel is great: nicely creamy with pleasant carbonation, and it's awfully easy to drink for 8.5% ABV. Overall, Prank Call is no prank; it's a very fine New England DIPA.

Color is opaque yellow with a nice fluffy head. Nose is slightly floral with citrus notes. Mouthfeel is medium to full-bodied. Flavor is more papaya and orange with a strong juicy finish that lingers for a long time.
