It’s here! The highly anticipated The Owl has been nestled away in a Blis Bourbon Maple Syrup Barrel for 11 months and is finally making its debut.
Arguably our most elite bottle yet, this Imperial Stout boasts a 13.6% ABV and was conditioned on vanilla beans and coconut after we pulled it from the barrel.
Sweeter yet balanced with bitterness, the meticulous treatment of The Owl lends depth of flavor that continues to reveal itself as the bottle is consumed. Striking notes include aromas of syrup, peat, and hints of nuttiness. Flavor profile comes across thick, with balanced sweetness and bitterness, slight smoke and oak attributed to the barrel, and some peat. Vanilla and coconut come through in support of the overall flavor profile, without dominating, to produce experiential depth and intrigue!
