ONE PINT can
Served in a becker glass

This beer pours a murky amber hue and is topped with a couple inches of tan head that leaves nice lacing.

Nice tropical notes with some underlying citrus and even a hint of melon

Wonderful tropical fruit flavors with some melon bridging to a citrus finish. Mild lingering bitterness from some grapefruit and even a little resin.

Fuller bodied with a creamy mouthfeel

In my opinion Arvon makes the best hazies in Michigan. Rarely disappointed, and the few that disappointed me were oxidized back in the beginning. Straight class, grade A beer since then.

2 month old can poured into a "Be Hoppy" glass.

Murky orange-gold coloring with a fluffy initial head of large bubbles. Nice latte foam cap as it settles. Sticky, splotchy lacing down the glass. Coloring is a bit muddy but it fits the juicy IIIPA bill otherwise.

Absolutely massive nose of dank greens, sweet tropical and citrus fruit juices, powdered sugar, and pine resin. The dank notes are full weed and green onion, which I really like when it's balanced out with strong and sweet fruit notes. Smells boozy and possibly a touch starchy. A little grapefruit pith on the back end. This one has that fresh-squeezed, resinous hop profile in spades. Digging it.

The good news is that there's very little negative starchiness on the tongue. The dankness is wonderful and the greenery is bitter, but works well because this thing is SWEET. Massive waves of overripe and candied everything: mango, orange, pineapple, passionfruit, ruby red grapefuit (sprinkled with sugar), peach, apricot, and the like. Big fruit salad. The dankess, some bitter pith, and that chewy resin reappear late, which mellows out the sweetness pretty nicely. Definitely drinks big and boozy. Almost a barleywine aftertaste (minus the caramel and brown sugar) with the high ABV and uber-hopping. Bombastic and the opposite of subtle, which often wears out its welcome halfway through the can. But here I'm really enjoying it, and I think this offering is far superior to the Double version. And man, the burps are spectacular.

Medium-heavy mouthfeel with wonderful coating of the teeth and a little bit of stickiness/chewiness, but nothing over the top. The sweetness, booze, and body don't cause you to sip it slow like a barleywine or big stout, but it certainly drinks big and you notice the ABV.
