The pour is stout black with almost no head at all. Even for a barrel aged stout there should be something of a head.
The taste is chocolate covered figs and raisins and dates. Coffee enters the picture but doesn’t dominate. Bourbon wraps it all together.
The feel is not quite, but almost still. Viscous as is expected for the style and the lack of carbonation didn’t make a difference. For me at least.
OA, a very enjoyable BBA stout that is a local treat

A - Pours pitch black with very thin tan head. Light amount of clingy lacing.
S - Aroma is dark chocolate and huge barrel notes.
T - The taste is dark chocolate, vanilla, caramel, roasted malts and good amount of bourbon barrel.
M - Medium body with medium carbonation. Creamy mouthfeel with a soft dry finish.
O - Solid non adjunct BBA stout.
