16oz CANNED ON 08/19/21 (1 month ago) poured into a dimpled mug at just above fridge temp 5.8% ABV per label. The beer pours mostly bright copper amber in color with khaki head. The head recedes to a thin ring and single layer of bubbles. Slight lacing. The aroma is mild with toasted multigrain bread, caramel and some earthy hops. The taste is semisweet, nutty, toasted and caramel malt with a moderate earthy hop flavor and bitterness. The mouthfeel is thin to medium bodied with average carbonation and a somewhat dry finish. Cleanly lagered. Overall, good. There's some caramel malt there, but it's not dominant. Good American version.

Had at the Switchyard taproom, Bloomington, Indiana, on draft into tulip pint.
Beautiful copper-colored beer with surprisingly fruity aroma, this Oktoberfest is an excellent rendition of the style.
