Had this Vienna Lager at the Switchyard Taproom on draft into 20-oz. tumbler.
Pours medium red-amber with clarity and 1/2-finger light-tan head, which quickly dissipates to a persistent partial film, pulling some sketchy lace down the glass. Aroma of mild caramel malt, moderate roast malts, and funky fruit. Begins with a little carbonation, then caramel malt, which gives a creamy body and carries into a nicely drying, classically bitter finish.
A pretty Vienna, with nice malt presence, creamy body, and a solid closing bite.
