Clear gold with a densely creamy bright white head.
A pleasantly herbal bitterness balances a unique malt presence that's perhaps wild corn or some kind of light rye--I noted this before I knew what it was brewed with. It was tough to say, but it had a unique toastiness that didn't take over, while it also wasn't too corny or sweet. Knowing now, I presume it was the malted red corn that performed this tantalizing dance on my taste buds.
Pretty fluffy and full bodied, this was a satisfying mug to quaff.
