22 ounce handbottle courtesy of Steve, thank you very much for the opportunity, second bottle I have tried of this stuff, drank last weekend with some old college friends out in the IE, poured into a pint glass, color is brown mixed with red, thin 1/2 inch off white head that is pretty bubbly, not much retention, minimal lacing, smell consists of brown sugar, green apples, sweetness, dark fruits, caramel, and various yeasts, the taste was overly sweet in the finish, becomes more cloying as it warms, starts off a little fruity, then fades into malts and does not turn back, yeast is also sweet, although it seems like all this talk about sweetness is bad, this brew actually tastes good in the end, still there is tons of sugar in the flavor, mouthfeel is mostly sweet and fruity, medium bodied, moderate level of carbonation, could not drink this whole bottle myself, does not go down easy, not boozy or anything but more sugary that hurts its drinkability, but I like I said above it tastes good but I do not know how much of it I could drink, good beer although I prefer the Cuvee Speciale version but it is really hard not to, this was cool that it was brewed to celebrate the Stockton's brewpub's twelfth year as well as their one thousandth batch of year, hope to drink again, recommended
