22 ounce handbottle courtesy of Steve, second time I have had this one now, split with my buddy Drake on 12/14/08, reviewed from notes, poured into my Dogfish Head snifter, color was a golden orangish yellow, 1/2 inch white head that did not last long, minimal retention, smell was made up of honey, sugar, green apples, white pepper, yeast, berries, and a small amount of booze, flavor contained a lot the aroma had to offer but had a nice toasted malt character to balance the fruity sweetness, liked how the residual sugar added something unique rather than overpowering it, mouthfeel was mostly sweet and fruity, medium to full bodied, soft carbonation, taste lingers a long time, ten ounces or so was just right, sweet characteristic can get heavy once it warms, alcohol is hidden pretty well though, not my favorite of the Decadence series but still a very fine brew from the little pub in Stockton, recommended

Appearance: Pours a hazy, yellow body with a small, fizzy, white head.
Smell: Sweetish, rather lemony aroma with lesser notes of soft pale malts, candi sugar, and rising dough.
Taste: Bready pale maltiness with a sweetish honey-like taste. Slight sour yeastiness. Mild, spicy bitterness. Sweet-n-sour finish. Fairly lemony throughout.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation. Slight stickiness.
Drinkability: I'm sold. It's the lemons that did it.
