Sampled at the 2nd Annual Stone Sour Fest, this was a blend of Valley's eight month old Belgian Quadruple and a three year old pomegranate lambic
A-Pale golden yellow orange with some brown, murky, 3/4 inch white creamy head, very nice retention, nice lacing too
S-Fantastic aroma, lots of spices, fruits, molds, inviting booze, cherry candy, Belgian yeast, sugar, and
T-Big Belgian feel in the first sip with lots of apples and dark fruit, sugary, then that lambic hits in the finish and makes it crazy, all over the place but good, tasted better cooler, unique mix that worked somehow
M-Warming, sweet, and pungent mouthfeel, body was thick, could have probably used some more carbonation to prevent its syrupy feel
D-This one packed a punch, high ABV and you can taste the alcohol, smooth though, not too heavy on the stomach even with its sweetness
Sleeper of the day for me, blew me away as far as taste for its strength, had a distinct Belgian flavor that made it hard to believe this came from a cool little brewery up north, would not mind having some more of this
