A: The pour is a very dark brown color with a small tan head on top.
S: A strange combination of aromas. Certainly very fruity with a hint of tartness (maybe from the brandy) and a light oak character, a bit of roast (perhaps even a hint of smoke?).
T: The flavors don't quite seem to connect with the aromas, but there is once again a noticeable fruitiness, though that tartness does not seem to be there. The oak is pronounced and there is a touch of bitterness.
M: The body is medium, but perhaps a bit on the light side of what you would expect for a barrel aged beer.
D: I'm not quite sure what to make of this. I would like to try this again just because it was so different...
