Sampled 11/13/2010 at -bal fest 2010.
Pours bright yellow, pretty clear, white head, some lacing and retention.
Aroma is pomegranate, honey, bourbon, booze.
Flavor is bourbon, pomegranate, honey, popcorn, and wood. High CO2 level. Really quite good.
Body is medium and very drinkable and enjoyable.
It's a shame about Steve as I'll have a lot less ticks from Valley. The good news is that he'll be opening his own brewery in the East Bay in the near future.
