I’ve done the things you people wouldn’t believe, drank Helles lager off the shoulder of a Ryan. I watch the guy from D:Ream whitter in the dark with a can of Tannhäuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in the rain… Time for beer.

A good lunch lager. (So good, I stretched it over two lunches... on successive days.)
Tannhauser Gate opens with Looks that are just above the average for this foamy, pretty style. Smells are mostly malt. Tastes are well balanced with the hops in the background until the finish and really only modest then. Soft and slightly better than medium-mouthed.
This is my third from Pomona. And I find them interesting and diverse, but not really good. Before I return, I think I'll wait a couple of years and see how they mature.
