32 oz. crowler
Served in a Michigan Wolverines pint glass
This beer pours a deep copper hue wit burnt orange highlights. It is topped with an inch of tan head that leaves spotty lacing.
It smells like a standard ale but with pepper aroma. It doesn't come across as hot in the smell. It is more like fresh pepper aroma.
It is a little sweet up front. I get some caramel flavor. The pepper comes through the middle and lingers into the finish. The pepper comes across as a tingling in the back of my mouth and creeping into my throat. It doesn't bring much heat.
Thin bodied with a tingling mouthfeel
This is a decent beer. I would have liked to have had more heat to cut some of the sweetness of the base beer.
