beer from here the can says, insanely cool beer, a lager that uses neat local malts and hops, and these guys just keep on being awesome, and also way too far under the radar in this market, people should know who these guys are, what they are about, and celebrate it, but it seems like its still undiscovered. not sure if the ingredients in this change batch to batch, seems like they might from the can, but mine kind of drinks like a vienna lager from the malt side, and uses chinook hops which have some peppery spice here, malty but not sweet, very endearing, it defines this way more than the hops or the yeast do. the yeast is actually real minimal here, only lightly european, and the hops are bitter without bringing much aroma or flavor. this has a liquid bread vibe, feels nutrient rich and salubrious, i could survive on it. the body is big for what it is, and it reminds me of some of their epic breads in here which is a compliment, unique and small batch feeling, if these guys are not on your radar, they need to be. i love eating and drinking here, these guys are doing something special and its great to see some cans now. i stand for this!
