This beer pours a muddy amber with a solid head. The aroma features a lot of burnt sugar, with bubblegum, banana, clove, and dried apricot. The flavor is medium sweet, with burnt sugar, bubblegum, green banana, plantaine, light molasses, apricot, and clove. The mouthfeel is fairly full, with loose carbonation and a sweet finish. Overall a touch too sweet for style, but rather enjoyable.

Poured from 16 oz can that lacks a date. Slightly hazy amber with a fizzy head that disappears almost immediately and then the beer appears lifeless. I am sorry you just cannot release a package this poorly executed anymore. Slightly spicy aroma with some Belgian yeast phenols. But it still comes across that they pushed the yeast too hard to bump up the alcohol and allow them to feel better about charging $10.99 a 4-pack. I like the flavor of the malt but the phenols come across as wet cardboard. Some of the better Belgian yeast characteristics do come through but does not save the taste profile. Carbonation is F'd. I am still shocked that a product like this still gets released to stores in this state.
