Poured from the crowler into a Spiegelau IPA glass. Canned December 13th 2018.
Murky opaque body, with touches of amber dull lemon and muddy brown colors. Very fluffy and creamy topped head, with an off white appearance a sort of vanilla yellow, and big chunky lacing with a two and a half finger tall height.
That nose is stanky! Hop big aroma of dank earth, but also lots of vanilla like smelling sweetn malt touches. Dank hops, with a mix of pickle brine and perhaps some woody like herbs as well. Very inviting aroma, and definitely hinting a big beer here.
Pretty large palate. Thick malt bodied but not too much, and a definite sweet kick on the finish. Hop angle is mild bitterness somewhere between earth to florals, with a creamy palate sort of toffee in feel but with an almost white cocoa butter quality.
Definitely getting into a bit of NEIPA realm here with this guy, if that's your thing you'll enjoy this one.
