Poured from the crowler into a Spiegelau IPA glass.
Puffy forming slightly off white thick and very tall three to four finger head. Sits with quite a lot of staying power hardly budging. Body color manages a solid opaque appearance of slightly dull dark lemon.
Aroma is heavily dank and earthy. Very weedy like sensing and thick with a lot of pungency. A good solid hop aroma, that dominates but doesn't let much else play or accent the nose.
Palate comes with quite a bit of punch. Thick bodied, but with nothing too syrupy in flavored sweetness or mouthfeel. Mid palate though is a bit rich in a good amount of sweetness. Thick earthy hop and dank flavors compound on first sip, leaving a faint hint of thick earth, and possibly orange like citrus quality. Aftertaste is a bit heavy with a wallop.
A good dank IPA but comes with a bit too much girth and richness.
