Poured from the crowler into a Spiegelau IPA glass.
Deep pale orange body color, that is opaque in appearance with a faint hair of fine white carbonation present. Head is fluffy light white out of the can, making an easy three fingers, with soft looking like retention and fine bath foam.
This is a real nice aroma. Delicious spicy like hops mixing in with a sweet fruit tone that is somewhat candy like in nature. Further explorations are a bit more earthy and slightly dank, but there's a wonderful contrasting sweetness coming out of nowhere.
Oh this is good. Big juicy hop palate almost creamy, but with a hair of lighter touch. Hits with sweet spice green earthy character, mixing with a combination of citrus orange and lemon peel. Light touching and easy drinking with a great aromatic finish that is larger than expected. Simple malt and yeast base, make for an excellent hop unique bonanza.
So far this is easily my favorite beer from this brewery.
