The Amarillo version of our Single Hop Series. Zesty peach notes combine with the orange and lemon that Amarillo is famous for. A massive oat addition makes for a soft and silky mouthfeel with a moderate bittering to finish.

Poured from the crowler into a Spiegelau IPA glass. Canned March 20th 2020.
Minimal head creation, about two fingers, with an almost khaki colored faint yellow color and creamy appearance. A bit of sheet like lacing on a real nice bright orange and hinted light brown edged body color. Slight bit of haze, but with enough light to get through to make it glow.
Really beautiful hop nose. Soft aromatics of floral and big tangerine orange sweetness. There's a perfume like quality to this as well which is very enjoyable. Simple neutral malt and yeast base gives a perfect platform and lets the hops breath without any distraction, and to be nicely showcased.
Palate seems a little more predictable. Simple malt body, maybe a touch more malt presence in flavor as well. Good juiced tangerine orange, but with a somewhat cask like feel perhaps. Flavors of very nice soft orange are all around, maybe even some cantaloupe soft melon kicks in nicely. There's a pleasant soft body to this, but it could be from the lack of carbonation. Faint touches of honey like malt sweetness too for balance, maybe even a bit biscuit like also.
Could be a somewhat poorly sealed crowler, but a good beer here is still easy to enjoy.
