Poured from the can into a Gaffel stange glass.
Bright white forming head, reaching a pretty large three fingers with some big retention. Decent staying power and bright white top, with a lemon dull brass like body, and a bit of haze.
Real nice aromatic nose. Deep bready malts, crispy white flour and hints of floral hop and some citrus. Hits a real nice classic bakery dough and soft quality.
Interesting palate. Fruity hop angle, that seems a bit more new world than classic in flavor. Hits slightly mixing tropical but with a real light bodied punch. Solid malt backbone, but missing much of the hinted bready character on the nose. Faint finish of lemon and good bitterness on the finish, with a mixing herbal flavor as well. Still, there's a hop quality on this that seems unique.
Not like your typical Kolsch, but a real solid drinking one for sure.
