Poured from the can into a Spiegelau IPA glass.
Deep and opaque glowing dark lemon body color. Very soapy but tall forming bleach white and bright head, reaching easily past three fingers to a solid near four finger tall height. Huge bathfoam looking retention, and soap big bubbled lacing.
Hop dominant aroma, hits earth and a big grass like tone. Gets slightly white wine grape a bit as well, but with much more earth and grass tones dominating. Hints of a little bit of bitterness and medicinal as well slightly.
Palate seems to provide no surprises. Good almost milky mouthfeel and a similar like texture. Light cream feel with a hoppy earthy bent and lots of grassy flavors. Finishes slightly milky sweet as well, even though there is no lactose in this, with a good mix of herbs and pine. Seems to lose a bit of that grape flavor that was hinted on the nose.
A pretty simple IPA but solid and without much fault or fanfare either.
