Poured from the can into a branded tulip/goblet glass.
Appearances here are interesting. Rich frothy forming off white head, big bubbled and swiss cheese looking, with a huge reach at 3 plus finger height. Some good staying power there too, on a turbid body, that's unfortunately not the most appealing color. Dull dark lemon and actually kind of gray like colored. If it wasn't for that color this beer would sure score higher but it's a minor beef.
That aroma though. Gang busters good. Rich tartness with Jolly Rancher like hard candy of lemon and exotic tropical qualities. Hits jammy and rich, with a spicy fruity texture that is unreal. Slight touches of bready malt as well, this is a great smelling berliner.
Palate is a real blast. More of that candy store tartness, hitting tropical flavors of Jolly Rancher and pop rocks like flavors. Large candy like flavors, pushing into pineapple and tropical like fruit sensations. Light but supportive backbone, missing some of that malt richness however, but makes up with a real unique and fun palate.
Real blast to drink this one, even if it does look a little nasty.
