Poured from the can into a Spiegealu IPA glass.
Slightly turbid, and quite hazy body, a deep dark orange rusted color, with lots of fine and fast rising carbonation. Head is fluffy and topped really big, a rich four finger height and vanilla yellow colored. Sits for a long time with a giant island mount and lots of ring bubbly lacing.
Big aroma. Hop blasting soft dank qualities, but with a more perfume like scent. Tea and herbs become more prominent, rosehip almost, and even kind of juicy. What is this beast? Not exactly sure but I am really digging it.
Palate kind of brings an expected heaviness though. Thick malt backbone, almost syrupy with a good caramel flavor. Hop angle has the same as the nose, slight earth but more of a juiced faint tropical note. Triple IPA like largesse, hits quite boozy and thick, just a touch of hop bitterness to cut through a real sweet palate, bringing a touch of orange citrus and marmalade flavor.
Fairly decent IPA but goes a bit overboard when it doesn't need to. But if you're a TIPA fan, this is for you.
