Poured from the can into a Libbey style pilsner glass.
Slightly hazed but fairly clear light brass lemon looking body, with real fine linear carbonation coming up throughout. Head is a nice simple white, a little big bubbled, but also manages two easy fingers and some nice thick collar while settling.
What an interesting aroma. Clean sensing with a real nice almost sharp pine lemon heat quality. Flirts with almost an earthy quality but less dank and some kind of melon like character. Very unique and enjoyable on this pils.
Real delicious palate. Slightly chewy body with a real taste of dough malt on first sip. Mid palate rushes with spiced pine and this real wintergreen sort of sweet herbal character that is a lot of fun. Finishes crisp and fairly dry as well, but with less density of malt than expected.
An amped up pilsner but one that isn't hit with a lot of juice, but a unique quality. More please!
