Poured from the can into a Spiegelau IPA glass.
Darkened amber almost a murky brown tea like color, with some fine carbonation. Head creation is super fine, with light tiny bubbles and a good classic three to four finger tall head. Nearly nitro looking with a massive cling and lace.
Fascinating aroma. Exotic berried fruit with hints of floral hop notes mixed in. Soft sensing malts, light caramel sweetness but exceptionally fragrant like a bottle of nice perfume.
Palate sticks to a little more simpler qualities. Soft caramel with light touches of cream and tea like flavors, very oolong and black like in sensations. A great supportive and rich mouthfeel that is thicker but stays away from syrupy sweetness also.
I was expecting a more exotic and unique palate, but the simplicity and great mouthfeel certainly provide a real solid IPA drinking experience.
