For this fruited sour we took Astro Doughnuts renowned Cherry Blossom Donut and turned it into a beer. We added a ridiculous amount of tart red and black cherry, a good spattering of Vanilla bean and a touch of Graham Cracker to our classic Berliner to achieve that perfect balance of flavors that make the Astro Doughnut treat a local favorite.

Poured from the can into a wheat ale style glass.
Deep red like a dark pink colored grapefruit colored body. Faint pink to off white color and lots of snapping sounding bubbles. Minor retention but settles with nearly a collar and a good nice fine rising fast carbonation.
Aroma is certainly unique that's for sure. A big hit of dough bakery sugar. Sure smells like a donut that's for sure, even the frosting included. Minor touches of cherry like fruit and a little acidity. The dough quality is quite impressive and unique I must admit.
Palate makes for some fun. Light cherry and a pretty good body that's a little heavier than a typical Berliner. Hints of fizz and cherry jolly rancher candy. Lots of frosted sugar flavors but with a hint of touching cherry sourness. Finish comes off a little more acidic to dial down the sweetness, and doesn't hint of boozy high abv.
Pretty fun tasting fruited beer, all things considered.
