Mostly clear dark gold, white head, great retention, slippery lace, doesn't look like a Kolsch
Grapefruit zest and honeyed bread aroma
Flavor follows aroma, malt flavors are a bit deeper than expected
Medium-light bodied and well carbonated
An interesting take on Kolsch with an eye towards the current market. I dig it.

Poured from the can into a Gaffel branded stange glass.

Fluffy topped white head, with a suprising tall amount of three easy making fingers height, and some big soapy retention. Body is golden a bit of possible hinting chill haze, with just a little bit of rising carbonation.

Real interesting aroma. Light bodied and clean, but also a surprising light herbal tea sensing aroma which is unexpected for the style. Comes off hinting like a sun tea sensation with grass and herbs mixed in nicely. Kind of unexpected, but also really neat.

Palate seems to continue the aroma trend. Slightly hinting of chewy malt body, but a real nice herbal tea mid palate and hinting spicy green grass hopped herbs. Comes off a little less clean than anticipated, but with a light bitterness and fragrant finish.

Overall a light touching herbal take on a kolsch, that reminds me of sunshine tea in a glass in a way.
