Poured from the can into a Spiegelau IPA glass.
Creamy and fluffy topped off white colored head. Very tall and nearly a fist size but controled with nearly nitrous like bubbles. Body color is a bit murky brown but slight hints yellow but quite dull and opaque. Manages to stay away from sludgy turbid character.
Bold and impressive, the aroma is a hop forward dank blast with a specific woody almost needle pine like sharpness on the nose. Heavy hits of burnt like wood andearth, with an almost peat like powerful punch.
Palate takes a nice turn. Creamy and rich with a full malt coating giving just a faint tinge of icing sugar, a hop note that is slight fruit and tropical mixing with a big earthy blast. Finishing more earth that goes to smoke and wood with light touches of mint like herbs and sweetness.
Great tasting IPA.
