Privateer is a soul warming British ale full of British pale and crystal malts. Its sweet maltiness is balanced with a solid dosing of Fuggles and East Kent Goldings hops for an earthy and floral hop bitterness. This beer pairs well with Shepard's pie and Cornish pasties. Share one with your mates.

From a 16 oz. can dated 05/25/21. Sampled June 23, 2021.
The appearance is a slightly foggy amber-brown with golden hues underneath a modest off-white head.
Sweet malts and ash are the first sensations I pick up on the nose followed by an earthy hop character in the background.
Light-medium mouthfeel.
Sweet malt forward taste, maybe some toffee, caramel, and a modest earthy bitterness to end. I think they did a fine job with this ESB.
