16 oz can. Says "Not a Saison" on the bottom of the can. Well, the beer is called "Farmhouse" and there's no "Table Beer" style so bite me it's a saison.
Pours a hazy pale gold color with a massive soapy white head. The head has stubborn retention, clinging to the glass before leaving plenty of cobwebs.
Aromas of wheat and spicy cracked pepper, some Belgian yeast, clove, blah blah blah. There's a fair bit of stone fruit and lime zest. Nice aroma.
The flavor brings notes of stone fruit, orange, and lime zest. Tons of wheat. Subtle yeast and clove. Spicy, peppery finish.
The feel is light bodied with pretty high carbonation. Crisp and clean with a relatively dry finish. Extremely drinkable.
Overall this is definitely a great "Table beer". It's crisp, refreshing and easy to drink without sacrificing flavor.
