Comes in a 33 cl dark brown bottle with a round gold label on the front and no other labelling at all. Sugar is an ingredient. Bottled on 7/1/03, I opened it on 7/25/03.
Poured a clear medium reddish brown with a thin tan head that quickly settled quickly to just a film across the top. No discernible lace. The smell has caramel and, maybe prune juice, because it reminded me of Dr. Pepper (which I like). The mouth is fairly tingly and just slightly heavy sweet. The initial taste is pretty strong caramel and plum. There is a bit of hops in the finish, but the aftertaste is all sweet fruit. It's not bad, just not my favorite style.
