Served at the brewery's own bar, their version of a Russian strong beer comes out a cloudy medium gold color under a thin white head that retains better than a strong beer should and leaves some very good lace. The nose is very mild, with just a hint of sweet malt. The mouth is prickly and syrupy heavy. The taste is sweet and pleasant, with an substantial alcohol and hoppy bite. The aftertaste retains the hoppy bitterness. One of the better strong Russian pales I've had.
