16 oz can
Pours a clear amber color, white head. Nice toasty malt aroma. Similar flavor, bready, slightly sweet but fairly balanced. Medium bodied. Flavorful but easy drinking

The deep amber pour and boozier than normal smell are very enticing, and the crisp clean crackery flavor hits all the marks of the style. This is a buy if you come across it and enjoy the style.

Thanks to Pinz412 for this one, from a ninja box during the Rookies BIF #4. 16oz can poured into 14oz teku. Poured a lovely reddish-amber color with about 1/2 inch of light khaki head that had low retention and no lacing.
The aroma had a solid grain base, with some very floral/herby hops on top.
Very similar on the tongue, just better established and bolder.
The body was crisp, smooth, even, and had a medium sweet finish.
Drinkability was very nice, I could easily see drinking a bunch of these if they were local to me.
Overall, a solid and enjoyable example of the style. Certainly worth your time if you see it.
