This is the latest variation of Four Points Brewing's single hop DIPA series, this time focusing on Citra. Poured into a 16oz. willi becher glass.
Look - It pours a dense opaque bright yellow with a creamy one inch head.
Smell - Strong aroma of a variety of floral and fruity smells, none standing out on their own.
Taste - Massive concentrated flavor with big hits of citrus immediately. A beer like this defines juicy to me. Orange and pineapple with a nice floral component underneath. Abv is nowhere to be found.
Feel - Incredible body. Thick on the palate while also soft.
Overall - This is one of the first hazy DIPA's that has really excited me lately. It's not often that I find the look and feel to be the most compelling parts of a beer, but this one pulls that off. The flavor is not far behind by any means. When I crave a hazy DIPA this is the kind of beef that I have in mind. Well done by Four Points on this one.
