Thanks to Pinz 412 for this one, from his box in NBS BIF #13. 16oz can (no date) poured into 14oz teku. Poured a lightly cloudy straw yellow color with over an inch of white head that had moderate retention and light lacing.
Perfume-y hops were at the front of the aroma, burying the nice base grain that eventually shone through. A bit of lemon was also apparent.
on the tongue, the hops were more strongly floral, rather than perfume-ish, and also had more bright citrus notes. The grain was agian overwhelmed, but did pop up.
The body was light medium, smooth, and had a dry finish.
Drinkability was hampered a bit by that floral/perfume attribute, but was still an easy brew to down.
Overall, not a bad brew. Not right in line with the style, but close enough. worth a shot if you see it.
