Mildly foggy burnt amber to pale red, even almost purple, with the thinnest, level white head dispersing to a spotty surface.
Actually quite soft and inoffensive, the grape is a little Welchy, and is supported by a light touch of mild biscuit.
Quite easy drinking, the medium fluffy body finishes semi-dry.
I'm really kind of floored they did something like this. While it's not quite the wine-ale hybrids we've had from the likes of Jester King, Tired Hands or Funk Factory, at least in regards to the spectrum of flavor, it still technically qualifies I suppose.
