Excellent lacing from the dense beige head. Deep brown color where light does pass through the edge of the glass.
Dark Baker's chocolate and a bit coffee nose. Attractive.
Quite dry with definitive black patent malt burn to the taste. This is particularly pronounced in the swallow lasting to a long aftertaste. Thin, like the Irish versions with neutral carbonation.
