Roses are red, violets are blue, lavender is lavender, and honey tastes good too. Ok, so we aren't poets, but we think honey and lavender make for a poetic balance of flavors in this deliciously drinkable blonde ale with locally sourced ingredients, cheers!

Pours a slightly hazed amber color - but it is not a hazy beer. Aroma of grain and honey with a slight floral undertone. This is made from locally sourced ingredients according to the label. Taste wise, I would say that the honey dominates the flavor profile along with the lavender. I don't know what lavender tastes like - I get a slight moment of bitterness on the back of the tongue before the honey and lavender take over. It's definitely a well made beer, however I'm not sure the flavor profile works, at least not for me. Strange brew, am I likely to buy it again? I think the answer to that question would be no, but yet I don't dislike the beer. As I mentioned, it's a strange one, I think it's an acquired taste.
