the name cracked me up, coors light play obviously, nice beer too, they call it a kolsch but its awfully light and without the usual fruity yeast hit i look for in the style, still, its pretty well refined, super drinkable, and plays great in the yellow beer space. straw colored pretty clear liquid with a lot of rising bubbles and a life to it overall, looks tidy and excited. aroma is minimal, which is a good thing in these, clean and without metallic or adjunct cheapness, fermented pretty dry it seems, and with just subtle graininess to it, maybe faintly german on the malt side, biscuit and white bread, really light hops but not invisible, very inviting and simple. the flavor starts pretty mellow, not a whole lot here, but it opens into a well balanced brew, cooler fermentation evident, a subtle lime note, dough thing, and grassiness at the end, all the elements are in play, relaxed as this is. beer flavored beer overall, with spirited carbonation and nice dryness on the back end making it quite thirst quenching, no off flavors or cheapness at all, some more hops coming out as it warms but not bitter at all, nicely refined on the whole, and definitely a crowd pleaser. certainly not the most exciting beer on their impressive menu in here, but a solid easy drinker thats executed better than many. a bit minimal as a kolsch for me, dumbed down when assessed against the best of those, but compared to a coors light it certainly hits...
