New name, same great beer! Formerly known as Park Ale, Big Sky Hazy Pale was inspired by sun-drenched good times outdoors. It has a gentle haze, big tropical fruit and citrus flavours, balanced bitterness and a refreshing finish.

My first from Stomping Ground, I went on their website and was impressed. Just less than 10 years old, they have three taprooms and a healthy portfolio of seasonals, gose fruities and Barrel-aged varietals... in addition to the core beers which keep them in business. Also there is historical interest in that a century ago their first taproom, in Collingwood, was the centre of Victoria's brewing. And today, Stomping Ground employs 100+ and practices sustainable brewing. So for all that and more, I give SGBC very good Overall Hugs.
As for Big Sky, it Looks average for a fluffy style. But Big Sky does Smell like a tropical fruit punch that's heavy on the citrus. Tastes are well-balanced with just enough hops entering at mid-palate to make sure drinkers don't think this is fruit punch. Just shy of medium-mouthed in a full style. Best after having too much sun.
