Grabbed a single at Hair of the Dog. Usually not one to buy pastry stouts let alone peanut butter beer. Lol. But really enjoyed the blend of roasted nuts with cacao and vanilla forward flavor. Seemed very well balanced and approachable (as promised). But then to have a 5% beer have the depth of body, super creamy smooth like a much bigger stout / like an Imperial Stout was crazy. This beer reminded me of some my favorite Mortalis big stouts. To have this at 5.3% is hard to believe.
But I’ll take it .
Nice brew. Ready 4-2!

Had on tap at Plymouth. Pours clear, dark brown in color with one third inch head. Taste is peanut butter, white sugar, and smooth creamy vanilla. Medium body, low carbonation, sweet. Enjoyed this one bunches. A really incredibly stout. Sweet but not cloying.

Not a particularly attractive beer. Some minor floaties; poor head production; murky in the glass.
Huge notes of peanut butter on the nose, along with a bit of roast and chocolate.
Flavor follows, although the peanut butter isn't quite as dominant. Fair amount of cola from the stout base.
Drinks a touch thin and almost flat.
Very tasty flavored beer, but not an all time great, by any means.

Canned on: ?????
Many thanks to The_Kriek_Freak for this can!
A - Pitch black pour with no lacing whatsoever, kinda pours like the dead sea.
S - Big vibrant peanut butter and cocoa / chocolate on the nose.
T - Follows the nose with a big cocoa / cocao chocolate malt base with peanut butter over the top from start to finish. Finishes slightly on the sweeter side with really nice lingering chocolate and peanut butter with a very delicate touch of vanilla in the background.
M - Big medium body and just a tad watery around the edges.
O - This beer packs a ton of flavor into sub-5%. It's impressive!

Thanks, Darin!
Was lucky enough to have this and nine others sent to me by Darin. Had heard of Vitamin Sea Brewing but had never had any of its beers prior to this shipment. Untappd description called for “Session Stout with notes of roasted peanut butter, cacao nibs and vanilla bean round out this extremely approachable beer.”
Poured a pittch-black color with five fingers of khaki tan rocky-to-frothy head. Could see some bubbles coming up along the sides of the glass. Good spotty lacing. Good retention. (Sight - 4.00)
Smelled creamy peanut butter, cacao powder, peanut, hazelnut, vanilla, brownie with walnuts, chocolate milk and chocolate milkshake. Not as good out of the can. (Smell - 4.25)
Taste was about as good as the nose. Was initially kind of back and forth. Got vanilla, creamy peanut butter, cacao powder, brownie batter with walnuts, lactose, chocolate milk, peanut, hazelnut, chocolate milkshake, crayon, burnt popcorn and hints of semi-char wood. (Taste - 4.00)
Medium body. Sticky texture. Average carbonation. Long finish. (Feel - 4.25)
Was back and forth on a few categories, but I really liked this overall. Excellent for a 5.3 pct. stout. (Overall - 4.25)
