Poured from a 16 oz can into a NoDa Brewing IPA glass

Thanks to WunderLlama for this one

The beer pours a hazy pale straw color with about three fingers worth of dense white head that slowly recedes leaving behind quite a bit of sticky lacing.

The aroma is sweet and fruity, with notes of orange, tangerine, apricot, peach, and mango.

The flavor is like the nose is full of citrus and tropical fruits; orange, grapefruit, apricot, mango, pineapple, with just a hint of booziness. This runs right up to the line of being too sweet without crossing it. Medium bodied and moderately carbonated. Slightly slick on the tongue

Overall, the beer was pretty good, sweet and fruity with a creamy mouthfeel. Nice beer

The pour was an opaque (more unfiltered than hazy) yellow with a one inch, dense foam head that left rings and rings of lacing.
The taste is crammed full of pitted fruit (apricot, peaches, plums) and some grapefruit mixed with orange juice. I really like both the featured hops and they used them well.
The feel is one I only get when oats are involved. Not quite viscous, it has an almost creamy texture.
OA, if it weren’t for the ABV, I could drink these daily.
Good beer!

16oz can served in a big snifter. Can is dated 05/23/24. Got it from @WunderLlama in some craziness associated with NBS BIF #18.

Pours a hazy pale yellow with a creamy, dense, 1cm head that settles into a thin, even skin with a few lumps and a thin ring clinging high on the side of the glass. Smell is huge, rich, tropical fruit and melon -- mango and papaya and marshmallow, maybe a tiny bit of banana.

Taste is right up the same alley, adding in a little bit of honeysuckle sweetness and a little bit of an orange rind bitterness. Booziness is evident but not overpowering. Big strong flavors without feeling overwhelming at all.

Mouthfeel is light, smooth, creamy. Overall, dangerously light and easy to drink, very nice beer.

Poured into a 16 Snulip canned on 3/9/23. Pours an attractive hazy orange yellow with a finger plus sticky white head that leaves tons of streaks of lace as it slowly settles. 4.5

Aroma mango, peach, tangerine, apricot, and white grapefruit rind. 4.25

Taste follows tangerine, peach, mango, apricot, and some grapefruit bitterness. 4.25

Mouthfeel is bigger than average, soft gentle carbonation, maybe a little dry, and at 10.25% it has massive flavor but goes down easy enough. 4.5

Overall this a really nice NETIPA from Vitamin Sea. I would recommend for sure. Thanks @AzfromOz for kicking us off early and with a bang. Well done as usual. 4.25

Pours cloudy orange with a moderate head and lacing. Marmalade with melon rind in the nose. Stale. Medium bodied with a sticky, syrupy mouthfeel. Candied orange with honey on the palate. Finishes sweet and malty.

triple hazy ipa with citra and cashmere, my first from these guys, first i have ever even heard of them actually, although it seems like those in the know are pretty loyal. this is cool beer, actually hides its alcohol pretty well too, its the flavor intensity of the hops that sort of gives it away as a massive beer, but its not hot. the dry hopping is bold and the overall quality is impressive, hard to not make these sweet, and this one does have a honey taste to it, but the malt isnt caramelized or rich at all, there is just some natural sweetness supporting the hops, works just fine for me, doesnt heavy this up at all. bright yellow in the glass, not overly thick looking, and with a short but lasting white head from the can, looks pretty well refined for the style, and drinks like it too. i smell honeysuckle, meyer lemon, lemongrass, orange candy, the cashmere and citra are both easily identifiable here. the flavor is solid too, just like the nose, a little sticky and sappy feeling, but that comes with the territory in ipa this big. i am impressed with the clean ferment, like the wrinkle of coconut and peach this gives as it warms, and think its cool the alcohol stays so far in the back. the hops are intense but not overdone, nothing green or bitey about this, and i think the execution is downright impressive overall. i generally do no prefer my ipa this strong, especially hazy ones, but they nailed this, and it has me excited to track down more of their beer. delicious!

Pours an opaque, saturated orange with nearly two fingers of white head. Aroma is fruity, tropical, a bit sweet, and a little boozy. Taste hits the same notes as the aroma, I get some passion fruit, red berry, tropical fruits, and some sweetness; it’s like a tropical fruit-berry candy. Medium plus body with a hint of sugary-syrupy-ness and moderate carbonation. Overall a super tasty TIPA, very well done. It has a sweetness to it but it’s not overwhelming. The fruity notes are unique and enjoyable.

Canned two weeks ago.

L -- Opaque, glossy orange in the glass with two fingers of rocky white head produced with moderate pour. Some retention and great lacing
S -- Apricot, yellow peach, mango, perfumed floral, pineapple candy, fruity yeast ester. Smells like those assorted fruit-flavored hard candies
T -- Straight fruit juice, to a degree I rarely see in IPAs. Again, getting this hard candy character -- mostly mango, pineapple, clementine, strawberry, banana, kiwi. The pale malt bill (seems like they use a lot of flaked oats here) is very heavy-handed, which gives this intense sweetness that completely masks any hop bitterness. If I didn't know this was 10.2% ABV I'd guess somewhere in the mid-6s
F -- Soft and fluffy. I find the Vitamin Sea house yeast to be a bit overwhelming at times, but it certainly produces a nice softness in the mouthfeel
O -- One of the more successful TIPAs I've had to date. Usually I find these beers to be either too bitter or sickly sweet. This one, at this freshness at least, strikes a nice balance (although it is really close to being too sweet)
