Triple dry hopped, Juicy and tropical. 2023 AND 2024- World Beer Cup Gold Medals
The first Juicy IPA recipe to come out of TF. Named after Squirrel Murphy, to remind the Templin’s of their ski bum days. It brings you a blast of tropical aromatics with a citrus finish. It’s sooOoo GOOD!
Hops -Amarillo/Eldorado/Mosaic

16oz can from Brewers Haven. Hazy yellow pour, big thick fluffy head. Citrusy aroma, oranges, tangerine. Taste is juicy, citrusy, mild zesty flavors. Pretty fast finish.

Great example of a NE Hazy (and from a small Utah brewery no less.) Won a World Beer Cup Gold Medal two years in a row. Mosaic, Amarillo, and Eldorado hops— triple hopped and brewed to 6.5 ABV. No spirit dryness on the tongue. Smooth, juicy and delicious. I love the murkiness. This one is a winner.

i love the cans these guys are doing, the art and aesthetic are awesome, and the beer inside most of them has been excellent too. this is a little less traditional and well refined as most of their other stuff i have had, its another heavily dry hopped hazy one, but its well made beer and has a lot of cool nuance, id love to know what all hops are in here. its bright orange tinted in the outdoor light with a good head on it and some lace as it drinks. aroma is ripe peach and apricot, a little honeydew melon, and maybe a pinch of orange and lime zest, very fresh, very robust, but im having a hard time zeroing in on exactly what hops are in the mix. the flavor is similarly stone fruit forward with a decided peach front end, and hardly any bitterness to back it up, very juicy indeed. just a bit of greenness to it, but no harsh hop burn at all, and a nice starchy fuller malt base for balance instead of bitterness at the end, seems earthy and stable and all of that, well proportioned. good carbonation here but still a lot of body, and when this warms up a little it does get a bit heavy, it could be brighter feeling, but its tough to argue with the hop profile. i hope these guys dont use their brand equity and good reputation to turn into another hazy brewer/one trick pony, and there is nothing to indicate they will, but it seems like this is the way beer is going right now. not my favorite of their beers, but a good example of the style and a rather distinctive hop complexion.
