This is a malt-forward beer, but with a late bitterness and a chalky mouthfeel, which I surprisingly don't mind (I don't like it in NEIPAs but I don't mind it here). Very nice overall.

a red pale ale, cool cans, solid beer, these guys make excellent beer across all the styles they touch, and this is no exception. clear and shiney, copper but light still, white headed with nice lace to it as it drinks, and a lot of carbonation making the slightly stronger beer still drink pretty easy, this is hearty, fall and winter kind of pale ale with the malt in it, but great balance and still quite hoppy as they go. its got some light baked notes, a little honey character, and a woodsy sort of piney hop thing, nothing rising up above anything else at anytime, i kind of taste this all at once. a warming vibe with some malt sweetness in the center, bitter orange peel tasting hops later on, but a pretty quick resolution overall, and with the high carbonation it moves right along. a light penny thing to it, a cool earthen character, and no real sign of its strength. solid beer, more flavorful than most reds and more malty than most modern pales, but this doesnt taste like a relic to me. nice recipe and execution, i am loving these guys!

Can. Khaki head. Lace. Amber orange color.

Earthy, floral, piney, bitter, sticky, resiny. Bready and biscuity malts. Some caramel notes. Medium bodied. Pretty solid.
