We took Tropic and added more coconut and vanilla! This is very reminiscent of a coconut cream pie dessert!

Glass: Karl Strauss 26th anniversary .25L tulip
Price: $6.00
From: Celestial Beerworks in Dallas, Texas
Purchased: Dec. 20, 2021
Consumed: April 15, 2022
Misc.: No canned on date
Grabbed a can of this and a bottle of a barrel-aged stout from Celestial Beerworks after stopping by with Nick on a work trip back in December. Had a taster of it that day (Dec. 20) and gave it a 4.50 on Untappd, writing “Wow. That’s intense. World-class.” Untappd description was “We took Tropic and added more coconut and vanilla! This is very reminiscent of a coconut cream pie dessert!”
Poured a medium yellow-to-light golden hazy color with five fingers of rocky white head. Couldn’t see any bubbles along the sides of the glass because there was a ton of foam. World-class foamy retention. Perfect foamy retention. (Sight - 4.50)
Smelled coconut, coconut cream pie, vanilla, coconut flakes, pineapple, hints of tangerine and sun-tan lotion. Just as good from the can. (Smell - 4.25)
Tasted better than the nose. Damn this was good. In order got coconut, coconut cream pie, vanilla, coconut flakes, pineapple and tangerine. (Taste - 4.75)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long, smooth finish. (Feel - 4.50)
Damn. Just as good as I remembered this. Just lovely. World-class. (Overall - 4.50)
